Audience feedback

After showing my video to multiple people, both inside and outside of my target audience, I got a wide range of feedback. The people within my target audience (16-25 year old males) all enjoyed the film, and most commented on how they enjoyed the ending of the film where the character's eyes open, before he aggressively attacks the camera. People older than the target audience didn't appreciate it as much, not understanding the link between the character ingesting random foods, and the hearts being destroyed, representing his "lives". When I showed it to women, again many of them didn't appreciate it, and most of them commented on how they found it "disgusting and immature" when the character drank from the dog's bowl etc.
