Lessons learnt

Since beginning the course, I feel that I've learnt a lot about creating films, and that my ability is infinitely better than it was at the start. Editing with proper film software, as opposed to the free, and often poor quality, programs that I'd usually use was a great experience, and allowed me access to tools I previously didn't have. I also learnt how to use the program "Garage Band", which allows you to use copyright-free samples to create your own songs which was great because I had to create my own original soundtrack for my production. Unfortunately, the original soundtrack I created wasn't very fitting with the theme of the movie, but a real media expert called Oscar Stringer came to evaluate my work, and gave me ideas to design a new, more appropriate soundtrack.
